Married at the Portsmouth Guildhall, Hampshire

What a stunning and grand venue for this really lovely couple! It was my first wedding here, and they matched their colour scheme to the venue beautifully.  They were so lovely to be with on their 3rd August summertime wedding, with about 60 guests. 


I was hired for 6 hours, and they had about 350 finished wedding photos. 


The day started at the couples family home with Jen getting ready with her family and bridesmaids, with some lovely natural shots.

After photographing the bride, I left for the Guildhall to find the groom and the arrival of the guests. I then waited outside for the arrival of the bride...

A civil ceremony, with the bridal party walking down the aisle, and then the fabulous bride. We had some speeches, vows and exchanging of the rings, and a few tears too!

Into the cocktail hour, with lots of natural candid photos with the happy couple and their friends and family. We then had the confetti shot and decided to do the group ones at the same time, as everyone was on the steps! The car had special significance to the day ...

I took the couple for a walk to the gardens nearby, for some romantic couple photos, as well as some fun ones! I used my mirror to create the reflections under the trees. They were brilliant together and needed no posing!

Back for a mock cake cut, and into the speeches. The best man had a rather rude game the couple had to play, but no photos of that on here!!


A really wonderful day, and a privilege to be hired.
